Hello, my music makers! I’d like to welcome our new students and say “Welcome back” to all who have been here before. I think we are all looking forward to this year of learning new things, having new adventures, and growing in our relationship with God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit!

I have been a member of St. Patrick parish for a very long time, and was a student at St. Patrick school for 2nd and 3rd grade (but had different teachers😊). I graduated from Republican Valley High School (so did Mrs. Bortner), and eventually received my teaching degree from UNK. I started teaching career in 2000 at Hitchcock County Schools, and came to St. Pat’s in 2008.

My husband and I have 3 grown children, and 9 grandchildren. I feel so blessed that they all live in McCook, too. Mr. Hilker and I enjoy hanging out with family, going for car rides and motorcycle rides, working on houses, and traveling. I also play various instruments in the Oberlin Area Concert Band.
